RV & Campground owned & run by town's merchants, very friendly,helpful staff. Open campground on mostly gravel lot overlooking Louisbourg Harbor, across the bay from Louisbourg Fortress (a restoration of Louis XV fort now portrayed in 1744). You can see the Fortress from the campground through the fishing boats. You get a second day on your Fortress ticket if you stay in Louisbourg, have the CG stamp your entry ticket. Walk to playhouse, library, post office, store & several restaurants, 5 min drive to Fortress. Tent sites are on a grassy lot to one side (next to harbor boardwalk), with a picnic table placed on a cement pad, each with it's own shelter roof. Nice large glass gazebo w pay phone-modem.
